Why is a lead replacement additive needed?
A lead replacement is an essential component when installing pitched roof windows (it is not required for flat roofs). It forms the watertight connection between the bottom of your new roof window and the roof tiles. This allows rainwater to flow smoothly and safely over the tiles, helping to prevent moisture build-up and leaks around the frame.
Our lead replacement is a modern, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional lead and has been specifically selected to work perfectly with our roof windows.

- Material: 3D structured aluminium, 0.14 mm thick, with an elongation capacity of approximately 35%. Fully equipped with a butyl adhesive strip on the underside.

How many meters do I need?
The flashing replacement is installed horizontally along the bottom of the roof window. For a safe and watertight finish, sufficient overlap on both sides is essential.
