Many suppliers use standard glass only, which can be dangerous. Have you ever considered what happens if someone walks or falls directly onto it? It does not meet the required safety standards (EN 12600) for overhead glazing. At Premium Skylights, we take no risks when it comes to safety. Our walk-on skylights are equipped as standard with laminated safety glass with high load-bearing capacity. The same technology used in car windshields: in case of breakage, the glass remains held together by a strong interlayer.

The skylight was delivered quickly and the driver helped us out. The panel was well packed in a wooden frame, making the skylight easier to lift. Due to the weight of 105 kilos, it is advisable to place the skylight with three or four people.
